(SWOFT) Scriptural Word For Today-The weapon of praise and worship

The scriptures says in Psalms 22:3 'But thou art Holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel'.

This explains that God lives inside praises or better put that God's secret is praises.

David knew this secret and he employed it so well that he became a man after God's heart. If we can praise God continuously, we would have a continuous reason to praise Him because the more we praise Him, the more He will raise us.

One of the weapon that satan has no successful strategies against is nothing but the weapon of praise and worship. Hear this: 'If the devil cannot stop the start of your worship, then he cannot stop its impact. It is wisdom to know that those who worship God more, pray less an get much done. Hear what the Psamist says in Psalm 119:164 'Seven times a day do I prise thee because of thy righteous judgement.' But Psalm 55:17 says: 'Evening and morning and noon, will I pray and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.' Meaning that our praises to God should exceeds our prayers to Him.

Can the shout of hallelujah and blowing of trumpets brings down the wall of Jericho? Ask Joshua and the Israelite. Joshua 6:20

Can the rendering of praise songs and dances to the LORD cause the enemies to turn against themselves and help to destroy another? Ask Jehoshaphat. II Chronicles 20:20-23.

Can songs of praise to the LORD loose prisoners band and forces the prison door to open? Ask Paul & Silas. Acts 16:25-26.

An addiction to the life style of praise and worship to God is of a great reward both here on earth and in heaven for this will be our whole duty when we get to heaven.

Praise ye the Lord!

Prayer:
Abba Father, let the power and the spirit of praise overshadow my life in the name of Jesus.
